Does Progressive Home Care offer job placement?
Yes, upon completion we do offer in house job placement through our Home Health Care Agency, or you can go to another home health agency within the state of New Jersey for employment.
Can my newly acquired license be used out of state?
No, every state has their own rules and regulations when it comes to how it regulates Home Health Aides.
How long is the course?
The course itself is 76 – hours and can be broken down into two parts: 60 hours for classroom instructions and 16 hours of on-hand instruction. The course takes 2 weeks to complete with classes offered in the morning & afternoons.
Does Progressive Home Care offer reinstatement / Endorsement?
If you have had a Certified Home Health Aide license in the past but allowed it to expire, we can get you reinstated without having to retake the course.
What if I have a license or certificate of completion from another state?
If you have a license or a certificate of completion from another state, we can endorse your license in the State of NJ.
